Welcome to Mud and Puddles.
We offer childcare with a difference in both Killinghall and Bishop Thornton.
With our emphasis on enjoying the outdoors and having fun, our children receive exceptional childcare through play and exploration.
EDUCATION
We believe children flourish with natural creativity. Our children get great pleasure from exploring their surroundings and being encouraged to be creative. Whether it be at forest school or during an indoor activity children learn skills and gain immense self-esteem when given diverse opportunities to create. Exploration and creativity is an integral part of our setting and we provide a wide array of materials and opportunities to promote this.
The wider the range of possibilities we offer children, the more intense will be their motivations and the richer their experiences

PLAY
It is important for children that they are given space for pretending, expressing and imagining themselves. Play areas promote vital life experiences such as thinking, problem solving and taking turns all of which help children learn and develop skills to help them grow. Play areas are also important for developing physically and promoting good
health. With our outdoor approach, our children are given plenty of play time to enjoy themselves whilst developing through play.
CLASSES
Our classes are carefully chosen to promote fun and development in our children. We ensure that these meet the development needs of the each and every child. Our staff and class providers are highly professional and trained to give our children the best care whilst enjoying themselves at the same time.
